Making sure that you get that metabolism boost in the morning, along with the right proteins and carbs can be hard to figure out. One of my favorite breakfasts to get all of those things is my Quick Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal. In five minutes you’ll be ready to sit, eat, and start your morning off perfectly!

Quick Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

Serves: 1 serving
Ingredients
- ½ c rolled oats
- ¼ apple diced (leave skin on)
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 TBSP almond butter
- 1 tsp honey or desired sweetener
Instructions
- Boil one cup of water in saucepan.
- Add oats and apples.
- Allow to cook until all the moisture is gone and oats are done.
- Remove from heat and add honey, cinnamon and almond butter.
- Eat immediately.
